A simple meditation technique to release fear & anxiety:
-Take a few deep breaths. All the way down into your belly. Slow exhales out the mouth.
-Relax your body. Your forehead, jaw, finger & toes. Let your tongue be soft. Let your shoulders drop. Take your time.
-Imagine any heavy energy sinking out of the soles of your feet and into the earth to be transmuted. It might look like fog, murky water, mist, etc.
-Keep breathing and stay here until the murky energy clears.
-Take a few cleansing breaths in the nose and out the mouth.
-Now imagine beautiful light pouring into the crown of your head.
-Let it fill you up. Down into your neck and shoulders, your arms and heart and all the way down into your hips, legs and feet.
-Let yourself fill completely with divine light. Stay here, held by love and pure light as long as you desire.
Remember that fear and anxiety are often rooted in lack of trust. Call upon your angels and guides for support. Remember your truth and trust in God/universe/spirit.
You are the only thing stopping your dreams from becoming reality.
If you’re doing everything right: you’re clear in what you want to call in, you’re finding gratitude in this moment, but still aren’t seeing results... there’s a good chance it’s something within your subconscious.
I’ve been there and I know how frustrating it is.
You see other people manifesting travel, money, dream jobs, etc. and you can’t even manifest a dang free coffee.
You wonder if you’re really even meant for what you’re trying to call in.
Or if you’re being greedy or out of line for wanting more.
Sometimes you just want to throw in the towel.
Instead, reframe this to an opportunity to go deeper within.
You WILL find the obstacle and the resolution when you start to truly explore the confines of your own subconscious.
🌙Repeat your affirmations/mantras and feel them in your body. Where are you contracting when you speak them? Breathe deeply into those areas and imagine any ‘stuck’ energy leaving the body.
🌙Allow yourself to get into a meditative state and ask yourself ‘what am I afraid of?’ Listen closely for the answers. Pay attention to anything you visualize, feel, or even thoughts or events that pop up in your head.
🌙Free write in your journal. Start with the prompt ‘where am I holding myself back’ and start writing everything that comes into your mind.
You’ll begin to get to the underlying beliefs that are keeping you stuck.
Once you find the stories you’ve been telling yourself, you can choose to rewrite them.
That’s where the magic begins.
5 easy ways to get out of a funk FAST!
Did you wake up in a bad mood?
You’re tired, cranky and not even that morning cup of coffee will help.
You know what I mean...the kind of funk that doesn’t just fade away by the time you’re ready to hop in the car.
And if you can’t shake it, your entire day will be in the 🗑. You need out and you need out NOW!
Don’t worry, we can fix it! 😇
Here are 5 of my tried & true practices for shedding the funk and getting back to business as usual:
1️⃣ Meditation. Not a quick 5 min guided meditation, but actually sitting down and getting into that deep meditative state. Getting into a deep meditation WILL reset you. Even better, so will #2.
2️⃣ NAP! Just like meditation, a nap gives your brain an easy reset. If you can take a quick 20 min cat nap, it may be quicker than a meditation.
3️⃣Movement. Embody that sh!t. Move your body, dance, exercise, and do it with intention. Stomp your foot HARD and shake it out! It’s fun and it takes a lot less time than 1 or 2.
4️⃣ Breathwork. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth. Imagine that funk is a gray fog and visualize it leaving your body on your exhale. Breath of fire is also a great technique!
5️⃣ Laugh! Take a few mins to watch your favorite comedian or call a friend who always cracks you up. There’s nothing like that feeling after a fit of deep belly laughter.
Do you have a favorite way to get out of a funk? I’d love to hear it!👇
Are you ready for a change?
To step into your power and become the next, greater version of YOU?
Your breath is powerful beyond measure. It brings life force energy into your lungs and radiates it out into every cell in your body. It’s no surprise then, that we can tap into this power to amplify energetic healing.
Through breathing techniques, we can access deeply buried emotions and shed unwanted and unneeded energies. These energies are what keep you feeling bogged down with life, the sadness you feel when you’re alone, the easily triggered anger, or the overall unfulfillment we sometimes experience.
With the breath, we can allow the weight that’s been compressing us to finally release.
We reconnect to our higher self, the true essence of what makes us each divinely unique.
We can find peace, lightness, and ease in life.
Bring a yoga mat, cushion, or any blankets or pillows you’d like for comfort and a journal (some mats, props, and paper will be provided).
RSVP encouraged (link👇).
There is something about the way people speak about our ‘shadow self’ that makes it seem scary.⠀
𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘗𝘈𝘙𝘛 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴.⠀
And we don’t have an evil half.⠀
There is nothing within us, not in any single one of us, that is anything but beautiful.⠀
𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵.⠀
Our shadows are simply the unknown.⠀
They are our wounds. Our scars. Our subconscious limits that we haven’t yet discovered.⠀
Our shadows are just that.. shadows, waiting to be flooded with light.⠀
Parts of us waiting to be accepted, loved, and integrated.⠀
Waiting to be told ‘𝘐 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘐 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶.’⠀
We need to connect to these parts of ourselves and allow them to be expressed.⠀
This is true healing.⠀
This is how we begin to feel whole, once again.⠀
